Young performers will sing, dance, and act the summer away!  Campers dive into playful theatre games, learn fun theatre terms, and practice big expressions, bold body language, and confident projection.

And because it’s camp, the fun keeps rolling with swim lessons, arts & crafts, sports, and exciting field trips. The grand finale? During the fourth week of each session, campers take the spotlight in a lively showcase for family and friends—cue the applause!

You scream, I scream, we all scream for… STREAM! STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math and this camp focuses on each of these concepts. Campers will apply their skills and knowledge to real-world situations and prepare them for the upcoming of the school year. Growing academic confidence with hands-on learning, weekly field trips, and classroom based teaching. Campers will still enjoy traditional camp activities after their morning instruction!

Tsofim Caravan brings pre-teens from across San Diego together for an unforgettable summer packed with adventure, friendship, and nonstop fun! Campers bond through sports, games, art, music, swimming, overnights, and shared experiences that create lifelong memories. Each two-week session includes one week of classic camp fun and one themed adventure week—best of both worlds!

Session Adventures:

Session 1 – Mission Bay Aquatic Center (Week 2)*
Get wet and wild with tubing, knee boarding, and sun-soaked fun at the bay—one of the most popular sessions of the summer! 

Session 2 – Whitewater Rafting (Week 2)*
Week one is all about fun in San Diego, then it’s off to Northern California for an epic rafting adventure! Campers hike, raft, camp by the river, and enjoy sing-alongs and s’mores along the Kings or American River.

Session 3 – Adventure Awaits (Both Weeks)*
Buckle up for nonstop thrills! From roller coasters and water parks to a one-of-a-kind overnight at SeaWorld—campers explore the park after hours, sleep inside the Turtle Encounter, enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences, and finish with a ride on the iconic Giant Dipper at Belmont Park. 

Session 4 – Paddle Sports (Week 1)*
Back by popular demand! Head to the beach for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding with expert instructors from Mission Bay Aquatic Center.

Surf's Up! Master the waves and hit the beach! Join our experienced friends at Surf Sessions and learn surfing techniques, water safety, and an appreciation for the ocean. Campers surf for half of the day and then come back to the JCC to participate in traditional camp activities. This camp is open to surfers of all skill levels, and all equipment is provided.

Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim

Camp Keshet at Nierman Preschool 
Keshet is where our littlest campers begin their J journey. In a loving, safe, and nurturing environment, children enjoy daily adventures filled with water play, art, music, nature, and plenty of playtime. Choose from five half days or full days, with theme-based activities that include swimming, sports, drama, science, and creative exploration. Our dedicated staff designs engaging, multisensory experiences that spark curiosity, imagination, and joy. For four-year-olds, the five full-day option adds enrichment activities and exciting field trips for an even more well-rounded summer. At Camp Keshet, play and learning come together every day.

Get ready to mix, stretch, squish, and slime! 
In Slime Camp, slime lovers will dive hands-first into the ultimate sensory experience as they learn how to create slime using common household ingredients. Campers will experiment with a variety of fun add-ins and techniques to craft the thickest, stretchiest, ooey-gooiest slime imaginable. Expect messy fun, creative exploration, and endless smiles as campers perfect their slime-making skills!

Get ready for a week of high-energy competition and nonstop fun! 
Campers will spend the week competing in a variety of exciting games, sports, and challenges while earning points and proudly representing their team’s country. From teamwork to friendly rivalry, every event brings campers one step closer to victory. Do you have what it takes to go for the gold?

Campers in Kochavim audition for a role in their session’s production. Each camper is cast in a show and learns about the stage, backstage, costumes, makeup, scenery, and performing. All campers practice their singing, dancing, and acting skills. In addition to rehearsing their production, campers enjoy swim lessons, arts & crafts, sports, field trips, and theatre outings. At the end of each session, there will be a performance of a beloved musical production by the campers.

Each week at camp is a new adventure in sports! Campers explore everything from basketball, soccer, pickleball, and spikeball to surfing, golf, and even more adventurous activities like fencing and bay-based aquatic sports. With professional instruction in golf, fencing, and surfing, kids build skills while learning teamwork and good sportsmanship. The fun doesn’t stop there—campers also enjoy classic activities like arts & crafts, music, swimming, and exciting weekly field trips.
