“I grew up going to Camp Jaycee and when my kids got old enough to attend, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that we would offer them the same great atmosphere to learn, play, and make lasting friendships.”

We take security seriously. We have highly trained, armed security on site in order to provide a higher level of protection for our campers, staff, members, and guests. We emphasize the fact that the safety of your children is our highest priority.

For this reason, if you are running late, please walk your camper into the camp office. We will make sure they get to where they belong.

We are additionally located next door to the San Diego Police and Fire-Rescue Departments.

The JCC is committed to expanding community access to recreational and social programs for children with disabilities. Admission is on a space available basis. Prior to enrolling a child with special needs, an intake meeting must take place to determine if we have adequate support for the individual needs of the child.

Any changes or requests do need to be in writing — no exceptions—for example, early pick-ups, going home with another camper, or a change to their bus schedule. Sending a note with your camper will work, however, we’d prefer if you e-mailed the camp office so we can be assured that the message gets to us.
