In order to audition, all young artists must be registered in a Core Class. There is no additional charge to audition. Should your young artist be cast, there is a production fee.

FAQ
Registration for the class is processed and valid whether or not the young artist is cast.
No. You do not have to be Jewish or a JCC member to audition. JCompany casts young artists regardless of gender identity, religious affiliation, ethnic background, sexual orientation, economic status, or center participation. Young artists need only be within the stated age range for any given class or production.
How do I sign up for an audition?
To sign up for an audition, visit the JCompany audition page: jco_auditions.aspx.
Once there, you will see three links:
- Sign up for an audition appointment- This allows you to schedule the time of your audition
- Online registration- This allows you to register for a required class (see Do I need to pay to audition? above)
- Audition forms- This information must be completed before your audition. You can print the documents from here and get a head start filling them out. If you do not have access to a printer, there are always packets available to complete on audition day if needed.
All JCompany auditions are group auditions. Ten to fifteen other young artists will also participate in the 30-minute slot. Artistic Director, Joey Landwehr along with the show’s music director, choreographer, and accompanist will be in the room. Sorry, parents– we know you would like to be present, but only artists and JCC staff are allowed in the audition room.
