FAQ

Please send your child with a packed lunch (no nuts, pork, or shellfish) and a reusable water bottle filled with water. You may also pack extra snacks if desired.

Lunches will be kept in a cool place but are not refrigerated.

Children should wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. If activities take place outdoors, we recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, or sunglasses.

Yes! Extended care is available for families who need additional supervision before or after camp.

Morning Care: 7:30 – 9:00 AM
Afternoon Care:

  • Monday–Thursday: 3:30 – 5:30 PM

  • Friday: 3:30 – 5:00 PM

Cost:

  • $18 per hour

  • $15 per hour for JCC Members

A late pick-up fee of $1 per minute will be charged after closing time.

All medications must be given directly to the Camp Director upon arrival. Medications must be in the original prescription bottle and include the child’s name, phone number, dosage instructions, and written medical authorization.

Please label all belongings with your child’s name. Items left behind will be placed in Lost & Found, but the JCC is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Unclaimed medications must be picked up within three days after camp or they will be disposed of.

Yes. Our programs are inclusive of children with disabilities on a space-available basis. Families who would like to discuss accommodations are encouraged to contact Molly Mattaini at 858.362.1124.
