How do I sign up to volunteer?
Is there a minimum time commitment?
It depends on the role. Some opportunities are one-day events. Others are ongoing and happen weekly or monthly. You can volunteer once, or build a long-term connection. Either way, your time matters.
Who can volunteer at the J?
Anyone who wants to make a difference is welcome here. Teens. Adults. Seniors. Members and non-members. Some roles have age limits or background check requirements. We will guide you through that.
Do volunteers receive training?
Yes. We will make sure you feel prepared and supported. Some roles include orientation or short trainings. If a background check is required, we will walk you through the process. You will never be thrown in without support.
