Turn a simple lump of clay into a work of art! Revel in creativity and fun by using slabs, coils, pinch pots, and a multitude of glazes to create animals, tea sets, vases, sea life, and other imaginative works of art. Other projects include drawing and watercolor painting. All activities are age-appropriate and encourage individual expression. Taught by Avril Butbul, who has over 29 years of experience!

Gotta Catch ‘em All! In Pokémon camp, we will be focusing on everything Pokémon! We will be trading and battling with Pokémon cards, making cool Pokémon crafts from accessories to statuettes to our very own cards (not for official use of course) and many things in between; playing Pokémon-related games to test your abilities as a Pokémon trainer, as well as trivia to test your Poké-knowledge. Come join the adventure at Pokémon camp!

Surf's Up! Master the waves and hit the beach! Join our experienced friends at Surf Sessions and learn surfing techniques, water safety, and an appreciation for the ocean. Campers surf for half of the day and then come back to the JCC to participate in traditional camp activities. This camp is open to surfers of all skill levels, and all equipment is provided.

Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim

Get ready to mix, stretch, squish, and slime! In Slime Camp, slime lovers will dive hands-first into the ultimate sensory experience as they learn how to create slime using common household ingredients. Campers will experiment with a variety of fun add-ins and techniques to craft the thickest, stretchiest, ooey-gooiest slime imaginable. Expect messy fun, creative exploration, and endless smiles as campers perfect their slime-making skills!

At Cooking: Cozy Comfort Food camp, we’ll explore dishes from around the world that inspire that unmistakable feeling of comfort and togetherness. Campers will learn to create a variety of recipes that remind us of home—meals that soothe the soul, spark nostalgia, and celebrate the joy of cooking. From familiar favorites to new global classics, each dish is chosen for the simple delight it brings. Join us as we discover how food can connect us, comfort us, and make every kitchen feel like home.

Get ready for a week of high-energy competition and nonstop fun! Campers will spend the week competing in a variety of exciting games, sports, and challenges while earning points and proudly representing their team’s country. Are you interested in learning a musical skill/instrument, but not sure, which is your favorite? Second and third graders have a rare and thrilling opportunity at our amazing 4-week camp. Campers will learn the fundamentals of playing the recorder, keyboard, violin, African drums, make instruments, and learn voice techniques. No previous experience required. Campers will also get to enjoy all the traditional Camp Jaycee activities. Get ready to make music and have a blast!

And a 5,6,7,8! Get moving with our Dances of World Camp! Great exercise for the body and mind – Learn a variety of dance styles and learn about the cultures and traditions that inspired them! Each day campers will be learning a different dance style from one of our instructors and will be able to show off the dance of their choice for family and friends at an end-of-the-week dance show!
