Does your camper have a passion for performing, dancing, or working behind the scenes? Camp Jaycee & JCompany is offering an exciting and dynamic experience where campers can choose from a variety of electives including Comedy, Dance, Technical Theatre, and Acting.
Campers will choose one of their focused discipline for the 2-week session.

• DANCE: Help develop choreography in the art of musical theater as well as perform the dances in the final production.
• COMEDY: Learn the art of comedic timing, improvisation and perform in the final production.
• TECHNICAL THEATER: Discover the behind-the-scenes magic of costuming, lighting and set creation. All designs that will be featured in the final production.
• ACTING: Learn various acting styles and techniques and then perform in the final production.

Each day includes a mix of specialized Intensive workshops, traditional camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, and music, and plenty of opportunities to build skills, creativity, and confidence.

The session culminates in an exciting collaborative final performance on June 26, where family and friends can enjoy the hard work, creativity, and talent of our campers as they come together to put on an unforgettable show!

In Camp Gesher, your child will enjoy a variety of summer activities as they develop existing skills and acquire new ones. On the first day, Gesher campers choose their own chugim (electives) based on their personal interests and grades. Weekly themes and field trips provide a framework for this spirited camp. On Fridays, campers enjoy story time in the Astor Judaic Library. Each session, campers participate in a late-night activity that includes sports, games, dinner, and a movie.

This intensive workshop will carry campers to new levels of excellence by recognizing each camper’s individual talent and giving them building blocks to grow as performers. Included are courses in voice, acting, playwriting, and dance, plus traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, music, swimming, weekly field trips, and late-night events. Auditions will be held within the first week. Everyone receives a role! The session wraps up with a full-length musical production for family and friends. One of the highlights of the session is a day trip to Universal Studios with a late pickup at camp that evening.

Campers in Kochavim audition for a role in their session’s production. Each camper is cast in a show and learns about the stage, backstage, costumes, makeup, scenery, and performing. All campers practice their singing, dancing, and acting skills. In addition to rehearsing their production, campers enjoy swim lessons, arts & crafts, sports, field trips, and theatre outings. At the end of each session, there will be a performance of a beloved musical production by the campers.

Do you have an athlete at home? If your grade K-1 child is sports-minded, Gesher Sports introduces campers to a wide variety of traditional sports. From T-ball to flag football, campers have fun learning basic sports rules, fundamental skills and teamwork. Days are set up in a block time schedule during which campers receive personalized instruction in the morning and rachmanus-centered (good sportsmanship) competition playing time in the afternoon. Each session is complemented with traditional activities such as arts & crafts, music, swimming, weekly field trips, and a late night.

The goal at Camp Bidur is to boost the camper’s skills in acting, singing, dancing, and playwriting while building confidence and self-esteem. Campers will present a musical theatre production after creating costumes and set designs with experts and exploring technical elements of theatre. Campers will also go on field trips and engage in traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, swimming and late nights, and a day trip to Knott’s Berry Farm with a late pickup at camp that evening. Performance Date: Monday Aug 4th

Campers will immerse themselves in a world of movement and rhythm as they explore a wide variety of dance styles, including Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Gymnastics, Bollywood, Asian, Spanish, Latin, and more! Each style provides a unique opportunity to master new techniques, express creativity, and celebrate the vibrant cultures that inspire these dances. Whether it's leaping through a jazz routine, tapping out intricate rhythms, or bringing Bollywood flair to life, campers will build confidence, flexibility, and a true appreciation for the art of dance.

Get ready for an exciting week of friendly competition and fun at Camp Jaycee! Campers will form teams and represent their chosen countries, earning points through a variety of engaging activities and games. Each day will end with an award ceremony to celebrate everyone's achievements. From relay races to creative challenges, every camper will have a chance to shine and contribute to their team's success. Let the games begin!

Do you have an athlete at home? If your grade K-1 child is sports-minded, Gesher Sports introduces campers to a wide variety of traditional sports. 

We will gather in our classroom for a quick morning circle, then off to play, explore and get messy! Enjoy gym with our PE Specialist Coach Dru, and finish off our day outside in the smaller preschool playground. Every class will incorporate music and movement, the Jewish holidays will be celebrated, and each day ends with bubbles and stamps.
