Young performers will sing, dance, and act the summer away!  Campers dive into playful theatre games, learn fun theatre terms, and practice big expressions, bold body language, and confident projection.

And because it’s camp, the fun keeps rolling with swim lessons, arts & crafts, sports, and exciting field trips. The grand finale? During the fourth week of each session, campers take the spotlight in a lively showcase for family and friends—cue the applause!

¡Bienvenidos a todos! The secret to optimizing fluency is to be in an immersive environment while having fun! Your child will enjoy a rich and cultural linguistic experience that incorporates games, interactive activities, culture, field trips, and STEAM in Spanish. All levels are welcome! Your camper will speak Spanish from drop off to pick up with their counselors, teachers, and friends!

Get ready to mix, stretch, squish, and slime! 
In Slime Camp, slime lovers will dive hands-first into the ultimate sensory experience as they learn how to create slime using common household ingredients. Campers will experiment with a variety of fun add-ins and techniques to craft the thickest, stretchiest, ooey-gooiest slime imaginable. Expect messy fun, creative exploration, and endless smiles as campers perfect their slime-making skills!

Let’s dance! Campers will move, groove, and have fun learning exciting dance styles like Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Bollywood, Latin, and more. Each day is full of music, movement, creativity, and big smiles as campers build confidence and express themselves through dance.

Camp Keshet at Nierman Preschool
Choose from five half days or full days! Camp Keshet offers your preschooler a daily adventure filled with theme-based activities including swimming, art, sports, drama, science, and nature. Through our Spanish Immersion program, campers are introduced to the language in a fun, interactive way—building vocabulary and confidence while they play, sing, and explore. Our dedicated staff creates quality multisensory experiences that spark curiosity, imagination, and joy—all in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment. For four-year-olds, the five-full-day program adds enrichment activities and exciting field trips, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging summer experience. At Camp Keshet, play, learning, and language come together every day!

Surf's Up! Master the waves and hit the beach! Join our experienced friends at Surf Sessions and learn surfing techniques, water safety, and an appreciation for the ocean. Campers surf for half of the day and then come back to the JCC to participate in traditional camp activities. This camp is open to surfers of all skill levels, and all equipment is provided.

Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim

Calling all sports lovers—Camp Maccabiah is your ultimate summer adventure! Dive into overnight trips to Catalina, ocean sports, archery, and ultimate frisbee. Each day, campers spend two action-packed hours with our sports staff, sharpening skills, learning new games, and practicing teamwork and good sportsmanship. Afternoons are full of classic camp fun, including weekly field trips, music, swimming, and arts & crafts.

Break a leg with Bidur! 🎭 Your rising star will sing, dance, and act their way through the summer while building confidence and shining on stage. Campers collaborate to design costumes and sets, explore stage makeup and props, and bring it all together in a spectacular final performance.

And because it’s camp, the fun goes beyond the stage—think swimming, arts & crafts, weekly field trips, and a show-stopping day trip to Universal Studios with late pickup that night. Cue the applause!

Hevra campers have an exciting summer ahead filled with a wide variety of activities including crafts, swimming, sports, and music. Don’t miss out on this fun, enriching camp experience! The first week of each session will be a traditional camp week (except Session 4, which will follow the Week 1 schedule), with the second week focused on the themed programming described below.

SESSION 1: A World of Puppetry (DURING WEEK 2)  

Campers dive into the magical world of puppetry by creating hand puppets, marionettes, and more! They’ll bring their characters to life through movement, storytelling, shadow puppetry, and beginner ventriloquism—all while letting their imaginations shine..

SESSION 2: Advanced Magic (DURING WEEK 2)

Ready to take magic to the next level? This camp is perfect for curious, creative campers eager to learn impressive new tricks—whether you’re brand new or already have experience. Campers will explore advanced illusions, sleight-of-hand, misdirection, and showmanship, while building confidence and performance skills. Get ready to amaze friends and family with magic that’s bigger, bolder, and unforgettable!

SESSION 3: A Taste of America (DURING WEEK 2)

This hands-on cooking camp celebrates the diverse flavors of the USA! Campers will spend the week preparing and tasting dishes from different regions of the country—and along the way, discover new foods they love.

SESSION 4: Marine Science Camp (DURING WEEK 1) *

Dive into the excitement of Mission Bay Aquatics Center’s Ocean Exploration Camp! Campers become ocean scientists as they test water quality, study plankton, and build their own underwater explorers. From kayaking through Mission Bay’s ecosystems to catching and observing sea creatures, this hands-on camp is full of discovery and adventure

Rise to the challenge to build and program robots using the LEGO® Spike Prime system! Learn about mechanical and software design, loops, conditional statements, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Design and construct your robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. Projects are structured so that students work in an open-ended, investigative environment while having fun.
