Our Youth Basketball Program will teach players the basics of team basketball and the strategies and cooperation that come with playing in an organized basketball setting. We will have 11U and 8U groups with games, clinics, scrimmages, and more.

Experience the Jewish Community Symphony in Cinematic & Classical, a thrilling journey from Vaughan Williams’ lively Overture to The Wasps to Tchaikovsky’s enchanting Sleeping Beauty Suite. Clarinetist Robert Zelickman dazzles in Weber’s Concertino, followed by John Williams’ heartfelt Viktor’s Tale and Khachaturian’s exhilarating Gayane Dances.

Led by a Coach Jack of Murphy's Soccer Program,  children will engage in physical activity while learning essential soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and teamwork. This session promotes fitness, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity.

Spend Good Deeds Day with Pride in the Tribe! LGBTQ+ teens and allies ages 13–18 are invited to a hands-on community service experience at JFS, assembling hygiene kits for clients at the Safe Parking site. All materials are supplied, and donations for the kits are welcome. We’ll hear from JFS staff, tour the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Campus, and practice tikkun olam together while making a real impact.

Celebrate Passover with Pride in the Tribe at a playful, chocolate-filled seder! We’ll remix traditional symbols using chocolate while exploring themes of liberation, coming out, and chosen family. Through creative readings, art, and reflection, teens (ages 13-18) will connect Jewish tradition to queer joy, resilience, and freedom—sweetly and meaningfully.

Join Pride in the Tribe, a community for LGBTQ+ teens and allies (ages 13–18), for a fun afternoon at the JCC as we see Into the Woods. This enchanting, thought-provoking musical weaves together beloved fairy tale characters as they chase their deepest wishes. With humor, heart, and unforgettable music, the show explores identity, choices, and what happens after dreams come true.

Americans rarely talk about how we die, even though it matters deeply. Facilitated by Rabbi Susan Freeman, ACPE educator and Board-Certified Chaplain, this program brings that conversation to the table. Through Jewish wisdom, shared food, and guided discussion, we explore death, grief, and the soul. Together, we turn a hard topic into insight, connection, and a deeper appreciation for life. Dinner will be provided.

Experience a powerful evening with the Jewish Community Symphony, opening with Mussorgsky’s dramatic Night on Bald Mountain and continuing through lyrical works by Luxemburg, Dello-Joio, Delius, and Romeo and Juliet. After intermission, acclaimed pianist Cecil Lytle joins for Mozart’s majestic Piano Concerto No. 25 and Dunchuck’s spirited Grand Tarantelle.

For younger performers, auditioning can be nerve wracking. To get ahead of these worries, we have created a workshop to ease into the audition process of Disney’s Moana Jr. This 2 - session workshop is perfect if your child is newer to auditioning, it's been a while, or they want a head start on Moana Jr. preparations. Parents are welcome!
