Get ready for a sports-filled summer! Camp Kadima runs in four 2-week sessions, with each week featuring a different sport—from basketball and soccer to surfing, golf, fencing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and more. Campers build skills, teamwork, and rachmanus (good sportsmanship) through daily instruction and friendly competition. Plus, they’ll enjoy arts & crafts, music, swimming, and weekly field trips for a well-rounded camp experience.

A sports-filled summer awaits your child at Camp Kadima. Each week focuses on a new sport, offering your child exposure to a variety of athletic opportunities. From traditional sports (basketball, soccer, pickleball, spikeball, surfing, and golf) to more extreme sports (fencing and aquatic activities at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center), Camp Kadima stresses teamwork and the fundamental skills necessary to participate and compete successfully.

Golf features professional instruction by our friends at Sorrento Canyon Golf, while Surfing will be instructed by Surf Sessions in Del Mar. Days are set up in a block time schedule in which campers receive personalized instruction in the morning and rachmanus (good sportsmanship) competition playing time in the afternoon. Each session is complemented with traditional activities such as arts & crafts, music, swimming, and weekly field trips.

Tsofim Caravan brings together pre-teens from all over San Diego to share in four different adventures. Camper’s bond and form close relationships as they enjoy summer experiences together and participate in various sports, games, art, music, swimming, and overnight adventures. One of the two-week sessions will be traditional camp and the other week will be focusing on the theme as described below.

 

SESSION 1: MISSION BAY AQUATIC CENTER* (During Week 2): June 16- 27

Let’s start the summer with a SPLASH! Mission Bay Aquatic Center will help us get wet and wild with fun activities such as tubing, knee boarding, and more! Teens will spend 5 days at the bay participating in all sorts of fun-in-the-sun activities. You won’t want to miss one of the most popular sessions of the summer! 

 

SESSION 2: WHITEWATER RAFTING* (During Week 2): June 30 - 11

Love adventure, camping, and trying new things? Then join us as we head north for a whitewater rafting expedition! The first week of the session will be spent in San Diego catching waves, playing games, and having a blast while we prepare for our journey. During the second week,  we will head up to Northern California for hiking, rafting, and exploring the beautiful nature all around the Kings River or American River. (Depending on water levels). Teens will camp on the banks of the thundering river and enjoy timeless activities like crafts, sing-alongs, and of course, S’MORES! This is a Tsofim Caravan favorite every year! 

 

SESSION 3: COOKING & COASTERS* (During Week 2): July 14 - 25

Tsofim Caravan will venture out around San Diego . Experience the heart-pounding thrills on the roller coasters and rides at SeaWorld; race down the watery slides of a water park and end the session with a ride on the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster at Belmont park. Throughout the 2 week session campers will create wonderful tasty cuisines.

 

SESSION 4: PADDLE SPORTS* (During Week 2): July 28 - August 8

Back by popular demand, we’re headed for the beach! Join all of your Tsofim friends this session and have a great time doing paddle sports, including kayaking and stand-up paddling — one of San Diego’s most popular — taught by the experts from Mission Bay Aquatic Center.

Do you have an athlete at home? If your grade K-1 child is sports-minded, Gesher Sports introduces campers to a wide variety of traditional sports. From T-ball to flag football, campers have fun learning basic sports rules, fundamental skills and teamwork. Days are set up in a block time schedule during which campers receive personalized instruction in the morning and rachmanus-centered (good sportsmanship) competition playing time in the afternoon. Each session is complemented with traditional activities such as arts & crafts, music, swimming, weekly field trips, and a late night.

Does your camper have a passion for performing, dancing, or working behind the scenes? Camp Jaycee & JCompany is offering an exciting and dynamic experience where campers can choose from a variety of electives including Comedy, Dance, Technical Theatre, and Acting.
Campers will choose one of their focused discipline for the 2-week session.

• DANCE: Help develop choreography in the art of musical theater as well as perform the dances in the final production.
• COMEDY: Learn the art of comedic timing, improvisation and perform in the final production.
• TECHNICAL THEATER: Discover the behind-the-scenes magic of costuming, lighting and set creation. All designs that will be featured in the final production.
• ACTING: Learn various acting styles and techniques and then perform in the final production.

Each day includes a mix of specialized Intensive workshops, traditional camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, and music, and plenty of opportunities to build skills, creativity, and confidence.

The session culminates in an exciting collaborative final performance on June 26, where family and friends can enjoy the hard work, creativity, and talent of our campers as they come together to put on an unforgettable show!

The Tucson J is thrilled to be the host site for the 2025 JCC Maccabi Games ® — the world’s largest in-person Jewish youth sporting event. Returning to the Old Pueblo for the first time in 25 years, the Olympic-style sports competition will include home hospitality, community service projects, cultural programs, and celebratory activities designed to foster Jewish pride!

JCC Maccabi Access invites Jewish athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities to fully participate in the excitement of the games. With personalized one-on-one support, this program ensures that every athlete’s needs are accommodated, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Access athletes can engage in both unified and specialized activities, build athletic skills, and take part in meaningful competitions. This program allows teens with disabilities to join thousands of Jewish peers from around the world in celebrating the spirit of the Games.

Hevra campers have a great summer ahead filled with a wide range of activities such as crafts, swimming, sports, and music. Don’t miss out on this fulfilling and extraordinary experience! Escape Room, this camp offers campers a chance to test their skills in mobile challenges and teaches kids how to create their own escape rooms. Codes, riddles, puzzles and devices will exercise their brain power and build teamwork as we explore the story and flow of escape rooms. Our camp incorporates challenges created by escape room masters.

SESSION 2:   (DURING WEEK 2)

A cooking camp that is guaranteed to be vegetarian and organic! We will be working with fresh and wholesome ingredients to make food that is tasty, healthy, and has a minimal impact on our environment. We teach campers how to make some really good food that you wouldn’t believe is as healthy as it is. In addition, we will also give campers the opportunity to start growing a plant of their own, and teach them cool tricks such as composting to keep the soil for their plants at its best, because as with our own diets, what you feed your plants matters!

SESSION 3:  (DURING WEEK 1)

Rise to the challenge to build and program robots using the LEGO® Spike Prime system! Learn about mechanical and software design, loops, conditional statements, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Design and construct your robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. SESSION 4: Marine Science Camp  (DURING WEEK 1) *

Dive into the excitement of Mission Bay Aquatics Center’s Ocean Exploration Camp! Unleash your inner scientist by testing water quality off MBAC’s dock, proposing hypotheses, and analyzing results. Discover the microscopic world of plankton and get hands-on building your underwater explorer. Join the kayak adventure to explore Mission Bay’s ecosystems, catch creatures with a net, and dive into the sensory world of sea creatures. It’s all about fun, discovery, and getting your hands wet in this action-packed marine science camp!
