Tsofim Caravan brings pre-teens from across San Diego together for an unforgettable summer packed with adventure, friendship, and nonstop fun! Campers bond through sports, games, art, music, swimming, overnights, and shared experiences that create lifelong memories. Each two-week session includes one week of classic camp fun and one themed adventure week—best of both worlds!

Session Adventures:

Session 1 – Mission Bay Aquatic Center (Week 2)*
Get wet and wild with tubing, knee boarding, and sun-soaked fun at the bay—one of the most popular sessions of the summer! 

Session 2 – Whitewater Rafting (Week 2)*
Week one is all about fun in San Diego, then it’s off to Northern California for an epic rafting adventure! Campers hike, raft, camp by the river, and enjoy sing-alongs and s’mores along the Kings or American River.

Session 3 – Adventure Awaits (Both Weeks)*
Buckle up for nonstop thrills! From roller coasters and water parks to a one-of-a-kind overnight at SeaWorld—campers explore the park after hours, sleep inside the Turtle Encounter, enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences, and finish with a ride on the iconic Giant Dipper at Belmont Park. 

Session 4 – Paddle Sports (Week 1)*
Back by popular demand! Head to the beach for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding with expert instructors from Mission Bay Aquatic Center.

We will gather in our classroom for a quick morning circle, then off to play, explore and get messy! Enjoy gym with our PE Specialist Coach Dru, and finish off our day outside in the smaller preschool playground. Every class will incorporate music and movement, the Jewish holidays will be celebrated, and each day ends with bubbles and stamps.

Join us for a fun-filled, jam-packed, 45 minute class of music and movement with Jennifer Meltzer. We will explore and play with various instruments, sing, move our bodies, and even enjoy some special stories. Fridays (Shabbat Themed).

Young performers will sing, dance, and act the summer away!  Campers dive into playful theatre games, learn fun theatre terms, and practice big expressions, bold body language, and confident projection.

And because it’s camp, the fun keeps rolling with swim lessons, arts & crafts, sports, and exciting field trips. The grand finale? During the fourth week of each session, campers take the spotlight in a lively showcase for family and friends—cue the applause!

Hevra campers have an exciting summer ahead filled with a wide variety of activities including crafts, swimming, sports, and music. Don’t miss out on this fun, enriching camp experience! The first week of each session will be a traditional camp week (except Session 4, which will follow the Week 1 schedule), with the second week focused on the themed programming described below.

SESSION 1: A World of Puppetry (DURING WEEK 2)  

Campers dive into the magical world of puppetry by creating hand puppets, marionettes, and more! They’ll bring their characters to life through movement, storytelling, shadow puppetry, and beginner ventriloquism—all while letting their imaginations shine..

SESSION 2: Advanced Magic (DURING WEEK 2)

Ready to take magic to the next level? This camp is perfect for curious, creative campers eager to learn impressive new tricks—whether you’re brand new or already have experience. Campers will explore advanced illusions, sleight-of-hand, misdirection, and showmanship, while building confidence and performance skills. Get ready to amaze friends and family with magic that’s bigger, bolder, and unforgettable!

SESSION 3: A Taste of America (DURING WEEK 2)

This hands-on cooking camp celebrates the diverse flavors of the USA! Campers will spend the week preparing and tasting dishes from different regions of the country—and along the way, discover new foods they love.

SESSION 4: Marine Science Camp (DURING WEEK 1) *

Dive into the excitement of Mission Bay Aquatics Center’s Ocean Exploration Camp! Campers become ocean scientists as they test water quality, study plankton, and build their own underwater explorers. From kayaking through Mission Bay’s ecosystems to catching and observing sea creatures, this hands-on camp is full of discovery and adventure

Experience the Jewish Community Symphony in Cinematic & Classical, a thrilling journey from Vaughan Williams’ lively Overture to The Wasps to Tchaikovsky’s enchanting Sleeping Beauty Suite. Clarinetist Robert Zelickman dazzles in Weber’s Concertino, followed by John Williams’ heartfelt Viktor’s Tale and Khachaturian’s exhilarating Gayane Dances.
